A little about me.
I am a mom and teacher in my late 40’s, with a goal of living life with energy, strength, and longevity! I’m married to the best man in the world, and have two boys who love sports of all kinds!
I have been active my entire life. I played collegiate soccer and I still occasionally play with other 40+ men and women 🙂. I love a good sweat, playing sports in the yard with my kids, listening to country music, and spending time at the lake.
Once I hit my mid 40’s, I began learning about the importance of strength training, building muscle and the physiological benefits of having more muscle!! It’s been so great learning about this!!
Quick Confession - I used to AVOID weights at all costs, thinking I would look big and bulky. All I did was cardio and always skipped the weights. Once I realized that looking big and bulky takes more than using 10lb weights (LOL), everything changed. I gained strength, greater mobility, and more energy.
